Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDERRICK SHIPP Peacefully, after a long illness on Saturday, December 23, 2000 at the Selkirk Mental Hospital Centre, Derrick Shipp, aged 71 years. Derrick was born on August 24, 1929 in Cambridgeshire, England. He was a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and worked at the Selkirk Mental health Centre for many years prior to his illness. He leaves many friends and former coworkers. Special thanks to the staff at the SMHC for all their care shown to Derrick over the years. Cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Selkirk Mental Health Centre Chapel, Selkirk, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Derricks name to the Huntingtons Disease Resource Centre, 825 Sherbrook Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
